The FOLKS studio in Bogotá started as an idea to harvest Colombian talent and bring it to high-end productions.

Office operation began in 2019 under the guidance of Andrea Espinal, providing support for the Montreal studio and on-set supervision and VFX work for the Netflix series, History of a Crime, Colmenares.

Now powered by full staff spanning the entire VFX pipeline, the Bogotá team has created VFX for Latin American and International projects alike, including Bandidos, The Boogeyman, HBO’S Mil Colmillos, Motherland: Fort Salem, 1883, 1923, The Recruit, Titans, The Morning Show, The Umbrella Academy, Fort Salem, Netflix’s Monarca, Black Monday and Blood & Treasure to name a few.
