Senior VFX Supervisor
Nicholas Seal is a VFX Supervisor at FOLKS, with over two decades of experience in the industry. His career began at Framestore London, where he started as a runner before quickly transitioning to a role as a roto artist and later a Flame Artist/Digital Compositor. His strong artistic background and technical expertise paved the way for his progression into VFX supervision.
Since joining FOLKS, Nicholas has supervised a wide range of projects, including Titan, Lioness, 1923, The Dentist, Pedro Páramo, Jules Verne, Woman in Blue, and The Boogeyman. Additionally, he played a key role in internal VFX supervision for projects such as The Morning Show, Harold and the Purple Crayon, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and more.
Before joining FOLKS, Nicholas built an extensive portfolio in commercial VFX supervision. His ability to navigate high-budget and low-budget productions, alongside his experience across feature films, television, and emerging VFX industries, has made him a versatile and adaptive supervisor.
Nicholas is known for his keen artistic eye and his ability to align creative vision with technical execution. He works closely with directors, cinematographers, and production teams to ensure that visual effects not only enhance the story but also integrate seamlessly with the overall look and feel of a project.
