HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON
In the film adaptation of the classic children's book "Harold and the Purple Crayon," Harold brings his drawings to life with his trusty purple crayon. After he pulls himself into the real world, he discovers that reality is more challenging than expected. With his imagination falling into the wrong hands, Harold must use his creativity to save both worlds.

OUR WORK
Our team contributed to this feature by bringing Harold's imaginative drawings come to life; CGI played a crucial role in making this world believable and appealing.
We collaborated closely with Sony Pictures' VFX Supervisor Matt Welford and VFX Producer Ken Wallace, dedicating over 10 months to deliver 242 shots. Our work involved creating 49 CG assets and sequences.
A standout moment for us was crafting the plane sequences: we created Harold's drawn plane, featuring a CG city flythrough, followed by a full CGI skywriting sequence ending with the ejection and parachute landing of three digital doubles.
Another of our main assignments was to design the SpiderFly creature, which features in many scenes, including the final battle with the villain and the film's ending shot.
