Alexis Bélanger is a VFX Supervisor at FOLKS with a strong background in both feature films and television. At FOLKS, Alexis has led the visual effects on major projects such as Ghosts, The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Curse of Bridge Hollow, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, Circuit Breakers, The Princess, Shadow and Bone, and Dark Matter.

After studying cinema, Alexis began his career in advertising before transitioning to film and television. Prior to joining FOLKS, he contributed to high-profile productions such as Ant-Man and the Wasp, The Kid Who Would Be King, and Men in Black: International.

His work has been recognized with multiple nominations, including a VES Award nomination and a Children’s & Family Emmy Award nomination for The Mysterious Benedict Society.

Alexis is known for his collaborative and solution-oriented approach, ensuring that clients feel confident and engaged throughout the VFX process. He thrives on creating a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experience while delivering results that align with the director’s vision.
