Alexandra Vaillancourt is the Bidding Producer at FOLKS and possesses almost two decades of experience in visual effects. Alexandra began her career in 2008 as a Production Assistant and quickly developed a strong foundation in VFX workflows and production processes.

At FOLKS, Alexandra has contributed to a wide range of projects including Umbrella Academy, Motherland, Messiah, See, Siren, Shadowhunters, and The House with a Clock in Its Walls. Her previous experience also includes work at Scanline VFX on titles such as Brick, The Empress, Spy Kids: Armageddon, Me Time, The Batman (as Associate Producer), and Foundation. While at MELS, she contributed to Versailles, Arrival, and numerous Quebec-based productions.

Alexandra is known for her strong organizational skills and her ability to foster a positive, collaborative environment. She cares deeply about her team’s well-being and prioritizes streamlining production processes to allow more space for creative focus. Her thoughtful approach and clear communication help build strong relationships with clients and teams.

She has received two Canadian Screen Award nominations and one nomination at the Gala Québec Cinéma.
