Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Comp Artist to join our creative team in Mumbai, India. As a Senior Comp Artist, you will play a crucial role in bringing visual effects to life, collaborating with other artists to create stunning and seamless composites for film, television, and high-end commercial projects.

• Create high-quality 2D and 3D composites for various visual effects shots
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of all elements
• Develop and implement creative solutions to complex compositing challenges
• Mentor junior artists and provide technical guidance to the team
• Contribute to the development of new compositing techniques and workflows
• Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and quality standards
• Participate in client reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with the latest compositing tools, techniques, and industry trends

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of compositing software, particularly Nuke and After Effects
• Strong understanding of color theory and color correction techniques
• Proficiency in 3D software such as Maya or Houdini
• Excellent eye for detail and visual aesthetics
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• 5+ years of experience in compositing for film, television, or high-end commercials
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality composites on time
• Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects, Animation, or related field (preferred)
• Solid understanding of cinematography and lighting principles
• Knowledge of current VFX industry trends and techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Enthusiasm for pushing creative boundaries and exploring innovative solutions
