ZENA BIELEWICZ
VFX Supervisor
Zena Bielewicz is a VFX Supervisor at FOLKS with three decades of experience in the film industry. She began her career as a Camera Assistant with IATSE 667, working on set for a decade before shifting her focus to visual effects. Recognizing the transformative role of VFX in filmmaking, Zena embraced the field and built an impressive career across multiple disciplines.
At FOLKS, Zena has supervised a wide range of projects, including Welcome to Derry, Final Destination: Bloodlines, Hot Frosty, Brilliant Minds, FUBAR, Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, Station Eleven, and The Kissing Booth 3. Her expertise also extends to DFX supervision on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and compositing supervision on Trigger Point and Mrs. America.
Before joining FOLKS, she served as a Compositing Supervisor at Mr. X Toronto on projects such as Messiah, A Dog's Journey, and Creed II.
Zena was nominated for a Visual Effects Society Award for her work on Mrs. America and is a proud member of the Visual Effects Society.
Known for her collaborative spirit, Zena inspires her team to push creative boundaries while keeping the storytelling at the core.
