Art Director
Moïka Sabourin is FOLKS' Art Director, having joined the company at its inception over 10 years ago.
With a background in scenography, set, and costume design for theater, Moïka Sabourin made a seamless transition into the VFX industry. This shift allowed her to blend her deep passion for storytelling with her design expertise, creating visuals that support and elevate the narrative. Before joining FOLKS, Moïka honed her skills as a matte painter and concept artist at Rodeo FX.
As an Art Director, Moïka is involved and works across a wide range of projects, ensuring that the artistic vision aligns with the director's intent and contributes meaningfully to each story. Her talent has been recognized in several ways, including being part of the Emmy-nominated team for The Mysterious Benedict Society and contributing to The Naughty Nine, which received multiple Emmy nominations.
Moïka’s strength lies in her ability to translate a director’s vision into striking visuals, crafting mood, composition, and continuity. Her adaptability and problem-solving skills enable her to blend artistic vision with technical execution, making her an essential part of every project she’s involved in.
