Maria Saade is a VFX Producer at FOLKS Montreal. Since joining the team, she has produced an impressive roster of projects, including Chevalier, The Boogeyman, Umbrella AcademySeason 4, Wrong Husband, Em & Selma Go Griffin Hunting, Kalki 2898 AD, Twisted Metal, Control, and Yellowjackets.

Maria's journey into the world of visual effects came after six years in journalism and media production. Her transition to VFX production marked a pivotal shift in her career, blending her communication skills with her passion for filmmaking. Starting as a runner, she worked her way through roles such as Production Assistant, Coordinator, Line Producer, and eventually Producer, gathering invaluable experience along the way.

Before FOLKS, Maria worked as a Line Producer at Framestore, where she contributed to high-profile projects including Peter Pan & Wendy, Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made (2020), and Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey.

Maria is known for her collaborative approach and her ability to create a positive, results-driven environment. She emphasizes open communication with her team, ensuring everyone feels heard and empowered to do their best work.
