Jonathan Piché-Delorme is a visual effects supervisor at FOLKS. Jonathan’s journey in visual effects began with training in camera and editing before he discovered his passion for visual effects. His first role in the industry was as a Flame artist at Buzz Image, where he perfected his technical and artistic skills.

At FOLKS, Jonathan has supervised visual effects for The Princess, The Curse of Bridge Hollow, The Boogeyman, Spy Kids: Armageddon, and Kalki 2898 AD. His work spans both feature films and television.

Before joining FOLKS, he contributed to numerous high-profile productions, including Fear Street, Jupiter’s Legacy, The Glorias, See, Preacher, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Slender Man, Electric Dreams, The Get Down, Colony, The Shallows, X-Men: Apocalypse, and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Jonathan’s work has been recognized with a Canadian Screen Award for Best Visual Effects in 2017, along with a nomination in 2018 for Nous sommes les autres. He is also a member of the Visual Effects Society (VES).

Known for his leadership and artistic eye, Jonathan is committed to delivering the best possible representation of a director’s vision while maintaining creative input within budget constraints. His collaborative approach and attention to detail have earned him the trust of filmmakers—many of whom return to work with him on future projects.
