John T. Miller is a Visual Effects Supervisor and On-Set Supervisor based in New York, with three decades of experience in television and feature film production and post-production.
With a keen eye for both creative and technical detail, as well as natural leadership, he has successfully built and managed visual effects, graphics, and editorial departments at some of New York’s top post-production facilities.
John’s work spans a wide range of formats, including broadcast, commercial, feature films, and episodic television. Notable projects include Mr. Robot—which earned him his first VES and Emmy nominations, When They See Us, Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street, Castle Rock, Sneaky Pete, The Blacklist: Redemption, Enemy Within, The Changeling, Inventing Anna, and The Flight Attendant.
As Head of Studio for FuseFX New York, John led his visual effects team on an eclectic list of projects, including Mean Girls, The Diplomat, The Good Doctor, Fleishman is in Trouble, Wu-Tang: An American Sage, Finest Kind, Feud: Capote vs. The Swans and American Primeval.
Beyond his extensive episodic work, John has contributed to major feature projects, including the main-on-end title sequence for Avengers: Age of Ultron and visual effects for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Annabelle Comes Home, as well as the documentary series Battles BC and Journey to 10,000 BC.
