Jean Lapointe is a VFX Supervisor at FOLKS with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Jean began his career as a compositor before advancing to compositing supervisor, then on-set VFX supervisor, and ultimately VFX supervisor. Throughout his career, Jean has contributed to a wide range of blockbuster films, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Captain America: Civil War, Tomorrowland, Elysium, and Avengers: Age of Ultron, among many others.

At FOLKS, he has supervised VFX work on Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Class of ’09, Yellowjackets (Seasons 1–3), A Tourist’s Guide to Love, The Mysterious Benedict Society, and Motherland: Fort Salem.

Jean’s work has been recognized with multiple Primetime Emmy and VES Award nominations.
