Jaime Guzman is a VFX Supervisor at FOLKS, known for his multidisciplinary background and expertise in visual effects for film and television. He has supervised major projects such as Cien años de soledad, Pedro Páramo, The Recruit, Invitation to a Murder, and Echo 3, where he spent eight months on set. Before joining FOLKS, he worked as a VFX Supervisor on El Chapo and Distrito Salvaje.

Jaime’s journey into visual effects began with his deep love for cinema, which was nurtured from an early age. His passion for storytelling led him to explore multiple creative disciplines, including architectural rendering, graphic design, motion graphics, editing, color grading, and TV branding. His breakthrough moment came after watching The Matrix, which inspired him to shift his career path and immerse himself fully in digital imagery.

His work has earned multiple accolades, including Lápiz de Acero awards in 2008 and 2013, as well as a Gold award from the Illustrators Guild of New York for digital animation.
