Helen Thach is a Visual Effects Supervisor at FOLKS, with a unique background in both engineering and creative VFX.  Her journey into the VFX industry began during a mechanical engineering internship, where she discovered her passion for 3D software and design, inspiring her to pursue a career in visual storytelling.

At FOLKS, Helen has successfully supervised VFX on a variety of notable projects, including ReacherTitansJane Goodall: Reasons for Hope,  Holland Michigan, and The Madness. With her expertise in both television and film, she consistently delivers high-quality results, even under the tightest deadlines.

Before joining FOLKS, Helen contributed to a range of projects such as The Hardy BoysLetterkennyFatmanAstronaut, and Trailer Park Boys.  Her work on Astronaut earned her a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Achievement in Visual Effects.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail, exceptional time management, and creative problem-solving, Helen excels in high-pressure environments. She collaborates closely with directors to bring their creative visions to life, seamlessly blending technical expertise with innovative solutions to achieve outstanding visual outcomes.
